A Vintage Love Affair!
This month at Vintage Stamping Challenges we have a colour challenge ~
Blues, Browns and Beige.
With Valentines Day approaching I was in the mood for a nice romantic card....
Then I had the idea of wanting to create
a cocoon effect around an image of a couple in love.
To hopefully give the illusion of a hug, or an embrace,
and to show that special closeness that you feel share you are in love.
and to show that special closeness that you feel share you are in love.
The image from Flonzcraft that I have used is
I masked the image and sprayed some Perfect Pearls for a little sheen.
The leaves are a punched out and coloured with DI's also.
I have made a junk bow using lots of left over ribbon and it has a gorgeous blue flower as it's center piece.
The background paper is from my stash, and inked around the edges.
The image is stamped onto layers of compressed toilet paper sheets,
which have been torn gently, peeled back and coloured with DI's.
And edged just a little with gold.
This is a really lovely technique and well worth a try.

I hope you can see the cocoon effect and feel the loooove!
Flonzcraft is generously offering $20 to spend at their online store,
along with the Highly Desirable pics
and Flonz himself (Leo) pics his favourite too!
So please come join in the fun of vintage,
spread the love
spread the love
and see what you can create.
Enjoy!
I am entering this card into the following challenges~
